Smart Polar Jacket. A nature-inspired smart polar jacket, tested in Antarctica.
Biogiyim is a nature-inspired smart polar jacket intended to improve the safety and comfort of scientists working in polar conditions. It won first place in Turkey in the Life Sciences and Human Health category of the TÜBİTAK 2204-C Polar Research competition, which earned the team a place on the 8th National Antarctic Science Expedition, where the jacket went through textile, electronics, and comfort tests.
